Hand blended to order in collaboration with Simply Sage, each batch is thoughtfully crafted using organic botanicals and blended specifically for you to ensure freshness, quality, and care in every cup.
This custom blend combines honeybush, rooibos, strawberries, orange peel, tulsi (holy basil), rose petals, chamomile, and star anise to create a tea that feels both uplifting and grounded.

Brewing Instructions
Steep 2 teaspoons in 8 ounces of hot water for 10–15 minutes.
For iced tea, steep hot first, then pour over ice.

I apologize for the delay in sending this feedback. Part of it was intentional. I wanted to really experience “Even Here” over time and in different situations before giving my honest take, rather than rushing it after just one cup. I also wanted my wife to try it, but then life got in the way. Here’s my full review:
Review of “Even Here” created in collaboration with Live Thrive Travel
By the time I got the package out of the mailbox, the aroma had already found its way through the packaging. Bold, yet pleasant and calming, it filled the air around it before I’d even opened it. I didn’t try the tea for a couple of days.
When I finally opened it, that same aroma was there again, only richer and more vivid. The tea itself looked just as inviting, with big, generous chunks of strawberry throughout. Full disclosure: I misread the directions, so I didn’t make the first two cups correctly. I normally don’t drink my tea with sweetener, but since I didn’t brew it quite right, I added a little honey, which really brought out the flavors. It felt like a holiday in a cup, peaceful, the kind of tea that makes you sit back, relax, and reflect. My second cup gave me that same experience.
For my third cup, I brewed it the correct way and drank it without honey, and it was just as good, if not even better. I also shared it with my wife, who loved it and already wants to order more.
My only real feedback: the star anise is very pungent. I personally love it! I’m the guy who eats all the black jellybeans out of the bag, but if you’re not a fan of that flavor, this might not be for you. If you could dial the star anise back just a touch, I think it would let the other flavors shine through even more. That said, it’s good as is.
My wife and I both want to order more for ourselves, and I’m planning to pick some up as gifts too.

I also truly appreciate your feedback about the star anise. Because Even Here is hand-batched in small batches, some of the ingredients can naturally settle or vary slightly from cup to cup. I’ve recently started including a note encouraging customers to gently turn the bag a few times before brewing so the ingredients are well mixed.
I’m also sharing your feedback with my daughter-in-law, Kari, who creates each batch, so we can take another look at the size and distribution of the star anise and see whether a small adjustment might allow the other flavors to come through even more.
I happen to love star anise too, so your “black jellybean” comment made me smile. 😊 Feedback like this is incredibly valuable because it helps us continue refining Even Here while keeping the character of the blend that people are enjoying.
